AGM & Election 2024
SBWN was delighted to host its 3rd annual Ramadan Connect with the cherished senior citizens of our community.
SBWN members came together to prepare and deliver iftar, dinner, dessert, and Zamzam water, but most importantly, they brought love and compassion during this sacred time of the month.
We travelled across Sydney, from Campbelltown to Lidcombe to Wahroonga, visiting 26 of our beloved Elders. With each visit came heartfelt conversations about their well-being, Ramadan reflections, and how we can continue to support them.
The smiles, heartfelt prayers, and spontaneous words of encouragement from our seniors deeply moved us. Their joy reminded us why this initiative matters so much.
For the past three years, our SBWN Seniors Buddy Support program has been working to build lasting connections with our elders. Volunteers regularly check in, offering companionship and support to help them feel seen, heard, and valued.
If you know someone who would benefit from being part of our Buddy list, please reach out.
And if you’re interested in volunteering with our Seniors program, we’d love to hear from you, we are always looking for kind-hearted individuals who want to give back to our community.
As we conclude Ramadan 2025, we ask you to make sincere dua for the health, happiness, and unity of our Ummah around
the world.
Together, we are stronger.
